This project reimagined an existing brand by creating sub-brands that integrate core elements of the main identity, enhancing the audience's understanding of the company’s purpose and values.
BRAND AND SUBBRAND
The original Consumer Technology Association identity relied solely on the logotype, offering no visual element that reflected the organization's character or purpose. This rebrand aimed to change that.
Below are the initial sketches and ideation that shaped the concept.
Drawing inspiration from the circuitry of a printed circuit board, the new mark translates a foundational symbol of technology into a bold and distinctive identity. The tagline Innovate Amazing captures the organization's spirit as a community that brings people together to build transformative technology, while serving as a call to action that encourages everyone to push the boundaries of what is possible.
The sub-brands were designed to highlight the organization's focus areas and how technology shapes different aspects of everyday life, while inviting innovative minds in these fields to become part of the organization. Each sub-brand follows the same design language as the primary brand, maintaining a cohesive visual identity across the system.
CONFERENCE TAKEAWAYS
The brochure serves as both an introduction to the Consumer Technology Association and a celebration of its legacy. The front presents the organization and its sub-brands, while the back features a color-coded Innovation Milestones timeline that traces the impact of technology on society over the years.
